Year 2023 in a nutshell

I held 723 lessons during the year 2023. I had 57 students in total. Every lesson was built according to each student's musical taste and the repertoire was expanded by approximately 100 new songs. Good music is certainly an infinite natural resource.

I am privileged to be able to make a living by playing and singing and at the same time help children, young people and adults to have more self-confidence and to believe in their own abilities. It always feels fantastic to see a student being amazed by their new skills. For me, the skill of playing is not just a mechanical performance, but a comprehensive interaction, ability of being in the moment and the talent of channeling emotions. I try to encompass this in my way of teaching and it's great to be able to have a job where being truly yourself is also your biggest asset.

The most important thing about playing is that you do it with love and enjoy every moment. This is the basic pillar of my way of teaching, which is why the name of the company is made from three words: Music, education and vacation. I will continue to work with passion and respect for music in 2024. If Paulig plans to make a new Juhla Mokka commercial this year, I warmly welcome the film crew to join in on my upcoming lessons.
